Old laptops, phones and fridges: what to do with e-waste at home

Old phones in a drawer, a laptop that no longer turns on, a fridge that stopped cooling. Electronic waste is growing in every home, and it needs more care than ordinary rubbish.

Why e-waste needs care

Electronics contain copper, aluminium and other materials that can be recovered and reused. They also contain batteries and parts that can be harmful if they are burned or dumped.

Before you sell a device

  • Back up anything you want to keep
  • Sign out of your accounts and reset the device
  • Remove your SIM card and memory card
  • Keep chargers and cables together, we buy those too

Do not open, break or burn it

Leave batteries and gas-filled parts such as fridge and AC compressors as they are. Our team handles them safely.

What we buy

Laptops, desktop computers, mobile phones, TVs, fridges, ACs, washing machines, fans, cables and more. Check the prices on our Scrap Rates page and book a pickup.
