A pickup usually takes a few minutes. With a little preparation it can take even less, and you will get the full value of what you sell.
- Sort by type. Keep paper, plastic, metal and electronics in separate piles.
- Keep paper dry. Wet paper is hard to recycle and may not be accepted.
- Flatten cardboard. It saves space and is quicker to weigh.
- Empty containers. Bottles and tins should be empty and roughly clean.
- Bag the small metal pieces. Nails, fittings and small parts are easy to lose.
- Mention heavy items when booking. Fridges, ACs and washing machines may need disconnecting, so tell us in advance.
